From mid-September 2025, the College of Transport and Communications, together with the International Education College and other relevant departments, carried out orientation activities for the 2023 cohort of students of the Joint Logistics Management Program between SMU and RMU. By September 30, 2025, a total of 13 students from this program had completed registration.
On the afternoon of the same day, the College of Transport and Communications organized an entrance education session for the 13 registered students. Staff from the International Education College and the College of Transport and Communications provided thematic briefings on regulations for international students’ study management, laws and regulations, safety education, and dormitory management requirements. This entrance education activity helped the students gain a better understanding of the university and the college. It also guided them to conscientiously abide by laws, regulations, and university rules, while encouraging them to integrate into academic life at Shanghai Maritime University with a more positive and engaged attitude.
