On November 26, theCollege of Transport and Communications of Shanghai Maritime University organized a delegation of faculty and international student representatives to visit Shanghai Smart Cold SCM Co., Ltd. for a practical exchange activity. The group toured the company's modern operational site, which integrates cold-chain warehousing, supply chain finance, and freight forwarding. They observed the domestically leading smart cold storage technology adopted by the enterprise and its self-developed digital cold-chain management platform, gaining an in-depth understanding of the fully digitalized, visual, and unmanned end-to-end management system covering maritime import, customs clearance and inspection, automated warehousing, and full-process temperature control. The company's technical representatives held discussions with the faculty and students on topics including industry digital transformation trends, the application of low-carbon cold-chain technologies, and the integration of intelligent equipment.
This activity closely integrated classroom theory with industry advancements, helping students gain a direct understanding of the innovative integration of smart logistics and supply chain finance in the vertical field of cold-chain logistics.
