On November 14th afternoon, the academic hall of College of Transport and communications was crowded with teachers and postgraduates who are coming for Professor NING Zhong’s seminar on “Case Reasoning based Prototype System Research on Emergency Treatment of Supply Chain Accident”. The academic report was chaired by Prof. LIU Wei. Prof SHI Xin, Dean of College of Transport and Communications, also welcomed and thanked for his academic report.
Prof. NING Zhong is the PhD supervisor from the Department of Management Science of Fudan University and a well-known expert on logistics and supply chain management. During the seminar, after elaborated on the basic concepts such as supply chain risk, non-traditional security and supply chain crisis, Prof. NING laid special stress on the case reasoning based CBR method, the realization of prototype system and its operation examples.
The academic seminar was informative and inspiring. During the seminar, college faculty and postgraduate students actively interact with Prof. NING not only on the seminar but also on the status quo of research and teaching carried in Fudan University. Prof. NING shared his academic points, answered questions raised by the audience and there were also some individual exchanges after the report.
