Traffic Information Processing and Control Laboratory

The Laboratory is devoted as the basic teaching laboratory of traffic engineering, and its own set of independent traffic monitoring system, information processing systems and signal optimization system are conducive to student learning, discipline development, and scientific research. The campus road speeding snap system and off-campus traffic flow speed acquisition system will help students to understand traffic monitoring and information processing. The real-time road traffic information could be recorded and accumulated as historical data to facilitate further research. In the long run, traffic information could be forecasted to induce the traffic in the Port and the freight of cargo and passengers in the city. The Lab is mainly open to the following courses: Traffic Analysis and Traffic Control and Management.
