Students of this specialty are supposed to learn basic theory and gain knowledge in port engineering and planning, port handling technology, port production organization and management, ship principle and design, international shipping management, receive basic training in transportation technology management, business management and information management, be capable of the use of transport technology and equipments and rational organization of transport production to get the best social and economic benefits.
The graduates should have expertise in the field of shipping and port management and obtain the knowledge and abilities of the following aspects:
