Modern Port Comprehensive Laboratory includes the following equipments:
1.The sand tables of container, crude oil, bulk cargo, bulk grain, inland river, and general cargo terminals;
2.LED screen, the simulated console and signal switch commonly used in the central control rooms at ports;
3.Models of different major ship types.
The following software is equipped as well: Container Terminal Management System, Bulk Terminal Management System, and three-dimensional Port Handling Process Teaching Animation.
The Lab is mainly used by students specializing in Transport Planning and Management, Transport Engineering, Logistics Management and Shipping Management for courses of Port Handling Technology, Port Production Management and Port Engineering Planning to practice with tasks related with cargo handling and terminal port production scheduling.
